For proper reception, we recommend:
A minimum 8 Mbit (download) connection for SD channels (standard definition) and a 12 Mbit (download) connection for HD channels (high definition).

When the recommended speed is lower, the player will constantly go into buffering mode, which will prevent smooth viewing.

When the application/Player cannot play channels / The loading circle is spinning all the time.

The reason for this state of affairs may be:

  1. Older version of the Android operating system. If we are using outdated software (below 7.0). The minimum required is Android 7.0
  2. Hardware. If the device uses an outdated memory processor (Cortex-A53).
The minimum required is the Cortex-A55 memory processor.
Many older STB devices / various types of TV boxes (Android) have outdated software.
The minimum required WebView is 70.
Check what version of WebView the device on which we are watching Delta Media has.
Settings->Applications / or Application management ->WebView of the Android system
WebView must have version 70 or higher.
If the version is lower, there will be interference in reception, a spinning circle will appear.
If there are updates available on the devices/STB boxes we are using, we can try to update/upgrade the Android version, but updating only the web browser is not that easy.
The box must be rooted and even then sometimes it is not possible to update only the web view (WebView).
Every Android device is different from others. It depends on the Android version.
Most "Chinese" STB boxes do not have any update, it means that we buy a device with one version of Android without any further update.
If we buy a new device, the chance of receiving a new version of Android and all the latest applications is higher, but it is best to make sure before making a purchase.
  3. Change the video decoder settings from HW to SW
HW means hardware decoder, which means that the video decoding process is handled by the device hardware.
SW means that the video decoding process is handled by the application software.

App Settings > Video Decoder > select SW
If we don't have this option, go to the tab
My Computer > Video > an option with increased quality will appear which must be
disabled. If it is enabled, disable it.

While watching, the image freezes every now and then. What could be the cause?

  1. In order for Delta Media Player to work smoothly without image tearing on each channel, you should switch the operating mode from HW to SW in the application options.
  2. For proper reception, we recommend a minimum 8 Mbit (download) connection for SD channels (standard definition) and a 12 Mbit (download) connection for HD channels (high definition).
To determine the cause, please run a speed test of your connection when you experience problems with reception.
It will show what speed of your Internet connection you are receiving. Please remember that the basic factor is the location and the Internet service provider. Simply having a connection of, for example, 20 Mbit/s cannot be a condition for "good Internet". The operator usually guarantees such bandwidth between you and the provider's edge routers. The quality of the Internet consists of, among other things, the access time between you and our network, the bandwidth of the operator's connections to our network. For example, the provider has high-quality fiber optics for the Internet in Poland, but poor fiber optics for the Internet in Spain, in which case if the servers are located in the Netherlands, you may have problems with smooth viewing. You can test your connection by clicking here: http://twojeip.wp.pl.
  3. The next reason for poor image quality may be your computer, which may be too slow and simply cannot keep up with reading the information sent to it, after some time it begins to "choke" which causes the image to stutter.
    Minimum requirements:

    Windows
    - Devices with the operating system: Windows 7 or newer.
Hardware requirements: Intel i3 gen 8 and higher and equivalent, 4GB RAM

    Android
    - Devices with the operating system Android 7.0 or newer.
Hardware requirements: 4 cores Cortex-A55 or faster. The problem is that many old STB devices are no longer updated and have outdated software. Therefore, the application cannot play channels /loading circle/very often hangs, searches, searches and often does not turn on. There are STB devices with Android 7.0 (various types of TV boxes such as Android TV boxes), but the last update of the Android service "Android System WebView" took place a few years ago. Many devices come from a "no name" manufacturer and no longer have this update. The minimum required WebView is 70. (see above).

    Mac
    - Devices with the operating system: macOS 10.12 Sierra and above.
Hardware requirements: Intel i3 gen 8 and above and equivalent, 4GB RAM

    Linux
    - Devices with the operating system Ubuntu 16.04 64-bit or newer.
Hardware requirements: Intel i3 gen 8 and aboveor and equivalent, 4GB RAM
  4. In the settings, disable the hardware rendering functions.
To disable hardware acceleration, do the following:
    - Click the Start button, and then click Internet Explorer.
    - Click the Tools icon in the upper right corner, then click Internet Options.
    - Click the Advanced tab, then under Accelerated graphics, check the Use software rendering instead of GPU rendering box.
    - Click Apply, then OK.
    - Close Internet Explorer, then restart it for the change to take effect.
  5. Reduce "Data Rate" Open the application (Player)
Click on: Menu -> Settings -> Advanced Settings -> Data Rate -> 5 Mbps
  6. Try connecting via Ethernet cable to see if the interference occurs only on the wifi connection.

I get the message: Error application has stopped. Delta Media Player has stopped working.

Windows users

  1. When you first start the Delta Media Player application, you must allow Internet access so that the player can work.
  2. Make sure that the security software installed on your computer (firewalls, ... firewall, anti-virus program, anti-spyware, Windows Defender) does not block Delta Media Player.
A typical example is the Advanced SystemCare application designed for  comprehensive optimization of the Windows system.
Unfortunately, it blocks the proper operation of Delta Media Player, so it should be uninstalled.
  3. Make sure that any update program installed on your computer does not block Delta Media Player.
A typical example is a program called: InstallShield Update Service Scheduler (ISUSPM.exe) which prevents the reception of Delta Media Player.
Therefore, it should be disabled. This can be done by going to Task Manager.
Path to this process: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\InstallShield\Update
  4. Make sure that the Protection Protocol is not set to very high in the router settings. If it is, change it to medium.
  5. If there are other errors in reception that are not listed, please also check to connect via mobile internet, which will show whether the local internet provider is not blocking access.
Please also check whether the site is not blocked by the internet provider's parental controls. If so, change the settings.
  6. The phone/device on which we receive the player must have the correct time and date. The phone/device on which we receive the player must have the correct time and date set automatically (not manually). If the user's clock is not set to the correct time, the channel playback may be interrupted. The clock must be synchronized with the "world clock".
This is the default on most computers, but sometimes some users do not use the "Automatic clock".
"Automatic time" means that the clock is synchronized with the world clock.
  7. You should accept the permission to use multimedia, photos, etc. if necessary.
  8. Solution:
    - in the program properties, select the option "run as administrator" and set the compatibility mode to Windows 7.
    - then open the Windows task manager and "kill" the running deltamediaplayer process.
    - restart the computer and it should work normally.
  9. Please uninstall and reinstall the Delta Media Player program.
  10. Restore my computer to an earlier state (when it was last working properly)
Click start----->all programs------>accessories----->system tools----->system restore. We select the option Restore my computer to an earlier time, click ---------> next -------> now we select the day to which the system should be restored and click ---------> next.
Now the system should reset and restore to an earlier state
  11. Change the DNS to public.
If you have Windows 7, just right-click on the network icon in the lower right corner.
Then select "Open Network and Sharing Center".
On the left side, there will be a tab with the change of network card settings.
A window will appear in which you will see the available network cards. At this point you need to select the active card by right-clicking and selecting "Properties"
Then you need to select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4). Then select the option next to "Use the following DNS server addresses".
In these fields, you enter the following: Preferred 8.8.8.8 Alternative 8.8.4.4

Android users

  1. One important thing to know is that the first time you run the Windows Firewall, the player will ask for permission to access the Internet, so the user must allow Internet access for the player to work.
  2. The problem may be that the authorized application is not allowed to access the Phone's Memory. You need to change the application's permissions.
    - Go to your phone's settings
    - Find the Applications item
    - Click on Applications and go to the next item, Application Manager
    - Click on the application whose permissions you want to change, and then select Permissions.
    - To edit the application's permissions, use the button next to each option.
    - For some applications, you can also go to the overview of all the permissions that the application has. To view all the permissions of a given application, click on MORE and then on All permissions.
  3. Make sure that the security software installed on your device (firewalls, anti-virus, anti-spyware, ad blocker, so-called adblock) is not blocking Delta Media Player. (Make sure that the Security Protocol is not set to very high in the router settings. If it is, change it to medium.)
  5. You must accept the consent to use multimedia, photos, etc. if necessary.
  6. Make sure that the installed software is Android 7.0 or better. Android - Devices with the Android 7.0 operating system or newer. Hardware requirements: 4 cores Cortex-A55 or faster. All previous versions do not meet the technical requirements for proper reception of the service.
  7. If there are other errors in reception that are not listed, please also check to connect via mobile internet, this will show if your local internet provider is not blocking access. Please also check if the page is not blocked by your internet provider's parental controls. If so, change the settings.
  8. The Delta Media Player for Android needs storage permissions to store information in the file system. If you have not granted these permissions, you will register each time with a different identifier. So there are options to grant/make sure that all permissions are granted when reinstalling/reinstalling the player, or go to the player's system settings, click on the application menu, find the Delta Media Player application/player and manually allow storage permissions.
  9. Please uninstall and reinstall the Delta Media Player program.

I get the message: Player has been blocked because it is not from an identified developer.

I get the message: 403 - You do not have permission to view this part of the site.

There are many possible causes of error 403. Remember that the list below presents examples of causes and examples of solutions for error 403:

  1. Refreshing the page. The first thing you should do after receiving error 403 is to refresh the web page.
You can press Ctrl+F5 to force a page refresh. The cause of error 403 may be the temporary unavailability of the web page (impossibility to load).
  2. Clearing the cache and cookies in the browser.
If the page is displayed on other devices, e.g. on a smartphone or tablet, clearing the cache and cookies usually allows you to get rid of the 403 error.
  3. Request blocked by malware. Another cause of error 403 may be malware on your computer.

There are viruses that force a 403 error on selected websites, for example through the system “Hosts” file, which may have been corrupted or may contain incorrect information.
Scan your computer for malware to make sure your computer is clean and free from threats.
Remember that the above causes of errors are just examples! The best way to solve the inconvenience of error 403 is to analyze the WWW/HTTP logs for your server.
You will find the detailed content of the error message in them, which will help you identify the exact cause of the 403 error

I get the message: Socket operation timed out error.

  1. Make sure your operating system is up to date.
  2. Make sure that the security software installed on your computer (firewalls, ... firewall, anti-virus, anti-spyware, windows defender) is not blocking Delta Media Player.
  3. Uninstall Delta Media Player and then restart your computer (turn it off and on again) and then reinstall Delta Media Player.

I get the message: Error 500
The most common way to solve the error 500 problem is when a slightly older version of the website is saved in the cache of the web browser (e.g. Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome).
In such a situation, simply clear the cache of the browser you are using.

I get the message: Service no available HTTP error code 400
A 400 error means that the request sent to the website server, often something simple like a request to load a web page, was somehow invalid or corrupted, and the server couldn't understand it.

  1. Check for errors in the URL. The most common cause of a 400 bad request error is that the URL or link was typed incorrectly.
  2. Uninstall Delta Media Player, then restart your computer (turn it off and on again), and then reinstall Delta Media Player.
  3. Clear your browser cookies, especially if you're getting a Bad Request error from Google.
Many websites report a 400 error when a cookie is corrupt or too old.
  4. Clear your DNS cache, which should fix the 400 bad request error if it's caused by outdated DNS records stored on your computer.
  5. Clear your browser cache.
A cached but corrupted copy of the webpage you are trying to access may be causing the problem.

I get the message: The application did not start correctly ( Oxc 0000022)

  1. Make sure that the security software installed on your computer (firewalls, ... firewall, anti-virus program, anti-spyware, Windows Defender) does not block Delta Media Player.
  2. A typical reason for this state of affairs is also an add-on included with Windows, which is often not enabled by default, namely DirectPlay.

Click on Start and Control Panel. In the Control Panel window, click on Programs and Features, and then select Turn Windows features on or off.
Then look for the option called "Legacy components", expand and select the "Direct Play" option. Click "OK"
Wait for the system to apply the changes, and then click "Close"

    b. You can install a program on the TV to browse the memory, e.g. fk commander from the store.
We copy the delta installation file to USB.
And from this program to the memory, we search for the file from USB and then install and turn it on

  3. Using various types of TV boxes (Android)
The built-in Wi-Fi network cards in most Android boxes are of poor quality. To improve the quality of reception, disable the SR option.
We find the HR symbol in the options for hardware image display support and disable the SR option.
  4. Using various types of TV set-top boxes equipped with an HDMI connector such as TV Stick (e.g. Amazon Fire TV Stick, Intel Compute Stick, etc.)
  5. Using Chromecast.
